I can’t believe that my nephew is already two years old, while I don’t have any kids of my own, now I know what people mean when they say kids grow up so fast. I live in Orlando and my brother and his family live in Mexico City, so I don’t get to see them as often as I would like. It seems like yesterday when I flew to Mexico in 2014, to meet my nephew and niece for the first time. I had not seen my brother in about four years as well. Boy was I nervous, and I had the worst headache you can imagine. Just thinking about it makes me sick. I know it was probably the nerves and silly me checked in my emergency kit rather than bring it on the plane with me. My whole life was in there including my Excedrin® Extra Strength and Excedrin® Tension Headache, which I always carry with me for cases like this. I was so mad at myself.

Let’s be honest, headaches require immediate relief, they don’t wait for the perfect moment, so I knew once I got off the plane I would be able to get my luggage before having to go through Customs, and take my Excedrin® Extra Strength. As soon as we landed, I was one of the first people out. My headache was feeling worse .I was nervous, excited, and in pain all at the same time. I walked as fast as I could to the luggage area, and when I saw my suitcase coming it was like seen a cold bottle of water after running a marathon! (Well I’ve only ran a 5k before, but you get the point) I quickly grabbed my suitcase, reached for my essentials bag and took two Excedrin® Extra Strength pills. I was so relieved because I knew I would feel so much better fairly quickly. For some people, relief starts in just 15 minutes and I still had about that much time until I got to see my family.

By the time it was my turn in customs, I was already feeling so much better! I went through customs, stopped to freshen up and I was ready to meet my nephew, niece sister in law and see my brother. By then 25 minutes had passed and Excedrin® Extra Strength had saved the day. I trust Excedrin® for fast headache relief and it never disappoints. I was so overwhelmed with happiness and I’m glad I could truly enjoy the moment. It’s one of the happiest memories I treasure in my heart.

As you guys might have seen from my social media, I was back in Mexico a few days ago and this time I made sure to bring not only my Excedrin® Extra Strength and Excedrin® Tension Headache with me on the plane, but I also decided to make an emergency travel kit for other situations I might encounter.

For my birthday I got this super cool bag, which is perfect to fit in a carry on or even my large purse, which I keep with me by my seat. I headed to my local Wal-Mart, I first stopped by the pain relief isle and picked up more Excedrin® Extra strength and Excedrin® Tension

Then I was off to the travel section for some emergency goodies. I picked up hand sanitizer, a mini toothbrush, mints, vitamins C, hand wipes, hand sanitizer, and some makeup. I also like to add copies of my I.D. and passport, just in case. Plus is good to keep them separate from your wallet in case you loose it. A lot stores will sell pre-made “emergency kits” but I think it’s so much better to build your own to truly purchase what you will need

Seen my family this time again was just as special as the first time, except without the headache since I had my Excedrin® by my side. Remember to use as directed. I have a few other trips planned in 2017 and I know Excedrin® Extra Strength and my emergency kit will save the day! What about you? Do you have any trips planned for 2017? What’s your most memorable travel experience?

Omg! Made me go back to that day, and you looked beautiful I would have never imagined you were in so much pain right before we met.
