Hello my Littlefinders! Spring is here and it is time to talk about hair. You guys are constantly asking me about styles and tips to repair damage hair, so today I am giving you all the secrets, plus a little tutorial on 3 different styles you can easily do at home. Let’s go!

First, let’s start by using the right product. I recently discovered Schwarzkopf Gliss™ Ultimate Repair Shampoo, conditioner, and treatment, during one of my trips to CVS. They have a few different formulas to choose from, but since I do have some dry and damaged hair, I picked up the Ultimate Repair Shampoo. If you have been coloring your hair for years and neglected it for many of those, Schwarzkopf Gliss™ Ultimate Repair products are for you! They combine patented keratin technology with essential benefits like color protection, intense hydration, long-lasting volume, and weightless nourishment, so you get the repair you need without having to compromise.

I am sure you have tried a lot of products out there but GLISS has the patented technology to repair your hair and it is an EVERYDAY  shampoo (not just SOS when YOUR hair is severely damaged). You can for sure use Gliss regularly.

Plus May I brag about the product for a second :):

  • Ultimate Repair Shampoo & Conditioner won the Allure Best of Beauty Award – best shampoo & conditioner for damaged hair
  •  Ultimate Repair Masks won Product of the Year – Most Innovated Hair Treatment of 2018 & also won People® Beauty Award for Best Hair Mask in 2017.

Your hair loses Keratin over time. GLISS’ Hair-Identical Keratin replaces the lost Keratin for re-gained strength and smoother hair surface. The patented technology repairs up to 10 LAYERS deep, replacing lost Keratin for beautifully strong & smooth hair. I let Ultimate Repair Shampoo do the work, plus it’s so easy to pick it up in one of my million trips to CVS. (I know I am not the only one) You can find it at the shampoo aisle.

Did you know that wearing the same hairstyle can damage your hair?  It may seem easier to wear the same ponytail or bun every day but it’s damaging. Tight hairstyles constrain your hair, and placing your hair band in the same place daily will cause a ring of breakage around your hair. Check out three of my favorite hairstyles to help your hair healthy and different.

1.Straight as an arrow – you will see a lot of celebrities rocking this style. The plus here is that straight hair can last you as long as a week. To achieve this look, I wash my hair with Ultimate Moisture – for dry hair shampoo, conditioner and treatment. I let it air dry and then I divide it into different sections, and run the straightener twice on each section (remember to get a good heat protector) Ultimate Moisture – for dry hair will also help with keeping your hair healthy from the heat. Start from top to bottom until you finish all pieces.

The Final Look – Straight as an arrow

2.Beach/ glamorous waves – A lot of people think this is a hard style to accomplish but it really isn’t. I usually do this style after having my hair straight for one or two days. The natural oils in your hair will help the waves hold longer. I use a one-inch curling iron, but prefer to use it as a wand. Wrapping my hair away from my face, hold each section for abou 15 seconds and repeat all throughout.

3. A simple side braid – We all have those days when we don’t want to spend a ton of time doing our hair. If it’s is one of those days for me, I simply take all my hair to the side, split it into 3 sections and do a side braid. This is a super cute spring look and takes less than 5 minutes!
