With the month of Thanksgiving here, It’s very easy to find so many small things we take for granted, that we rather should be thankful for. Today I want to share a story with all of you. Last year around the holidays, my family decided to take a trip to Cuba. We were having the best time ever at the beach when my period decided to show up.
Guess what? I had forgotten to pack tampons, and as you might have heard, Cuba is a very scarce county. It’s not like I could walk over to the pharmacy and just buy or find what I needed. There was literally nowhere to buy pads or tampons. It was a nightmare.
My sister in law arrived later that night, and luckily she had packed some U by Kotex tampons. I was so thankful. I was lucky, I found a resource. But now imagine the women who simply can’t afford feminine products and have no resources. 1 in 4 women has struggled to purchase period supplies products in the past year due to lack of income.
You might remember my October post, where I talked about The Alliance for Period Supplies. This new national organization helps to ensure that individuals in need have access to essential period products. U by Kotex® is proud to be the founding sponsor of The Alliance for Period Supplies, For every purchase of U by Kotex – U by Kotex will donate 2 products. During the month of October UbK and Walmart donated 5 Million Period Products to women in need, plus Walmart’s donated $25K to the Alliance of Period Supplies.
Thanks to all my #littlefinders who purchased products, and as a special thank you there’s a Motrin and U by Kotex ibotta offer that you should definitely check out. Plus click here learn more about The Alliance for Period Supplies and their amazing cause.
Until Next Time Littlefinders!
