Happy New Year my #Littlefinders, sorry I have been away from the blog for a while but I spent the last two weeks in Cuba! (Stay tuned for some awesome post about my trip, but you will see some photos in this post) in the meantime, I will say this trip was a great opportunity for a lot of self- reflection and with that, came really thinking about what I want to accomplish this year. I am huge on New Years Resolutions, and this year I am determined to stick to them. Here are some tips I came up with to do so. I hope you will join me on this journey of really accomplishing your dreams.
1.Write your goals and resolutions down on paper: This might seem obvious, but in reality, some people just think about their resolutions, but don’t put them down on paper. Writing them down gives them power and meaning. You can even go as far as creating a dream board to keep you motivated.

I can’t believe that my nephew is already two years old, while I don’t have any kids of my own, now I know what people mean when they say kids grow up so fast. I live in Orlando and my brother and his family live in Mexico City, so I don’t get to see them as often as I would like. It seems like yesterday when I flew to Mexico in 2014, to meet my nephew and niece for the first time. I had not seen my brother in about four years as well. Boy was I nervous, and I had the worst headache you can imagine. Just thinking about it makes me sick. I know it was probably the nerves and silly me checked in my emergency kit rather than bring it on the plane with me. My whole life was in there including my Excedrin® Extra Strength and Excedrin® Tension Headache, which I always carry with me for cases like this. I was so mad at myself.
Let’s be honest, headaches require immediate relief, they don’t wait for the perfect moment, so I knew once I got off the plane I would be able to get my luggage before having to go through Customs, and take my Excedrin® Extra Strength. As soon as we landed, I was one of the first people out. My headache was feeling worse .I was nervous, excited, and in pain all at the same time. I walked as fast as I could to the luggage area, and when I saw my suitcase coming it was like seen a cold bottle of water after running a marathon! (Well I’ve only ran a 5k before, but you get the point) I quickly grabbed my suitcase, reached for my essentials bag and took two Excedrin® Extra Strength pills. I was so relieved because I knew I would feel so much better fairly quickly. For some people, relief starts in just 15 minutes and I still had about that much time until I got to see my family.
